About LAZY SOB RECORDINGS: David Sanger is a six-time Grammy Award winning drummer, a songwriter, engineer, producer and record mogul from Austin, Texas. Currently doing the drumming chores for the western swing group Asleep at the Wheel, his career has taken him from the smallest honky-tonks to performing for audiences of 80,000 in territories as familiar as Austin to lands as distant as Japan, Brazil and Czechoslovakia.

Since joining The Wheel, Sanger has travelled over a million miles on the band bus and has flown all over the globe playing the band's strange brew of country, swing and boogie-woogie. He has recorded eight albums with the group, which have received four Grammys, five additional Grammy nominations, two C.M.A. Award nominations and an Academy of Country Music Award nomination. He has also appeared on numerous television shows, including The Tonight Show, Austin City Limits, New Country, Music City Tonight, Willie Nelson's C.B.S. Special and a made for television movie starring Dolly Parton, entitled Wild Texas Wind.

A two year hiatus from The Wheel resulted in Dave's building a home studio and the start of his own record label, Lazy S.O.B. Recordings, which released its first album in July of 1995. These years also included many recording projects in Austin, including Jimmy LaFave's Highway Trance on Bohemia Beat, Don Walser's Rolling Stone From Texas on Watermelon and Dale Watson's Cheatin' Heart Attack on Hightone.

Recording credits also include such computer games as Seventh Guest, Eleventh Hour, NASCAR, Putt Putt Saves the Zoo and Freddie Fish and commercials for McDonald's, Budweiser, Pepsi, Coors, Don't Mess With Texas and Levi's.
